Buffalo Street Books

Buffalo Street Books is the city's largest and oldest independently owned bookstore and is located in the DeWitt Mall, in the heart of downtown Ithaca. The friendly and knowledgeable staff invite you to enjoy the bright open space, fresh coffee, stylish music and a great selection of books, CDs, DVDs, maps, cards, and more.

Every month Buffalo Street Books hosts a variety of author readings/signings, book club meetings, theatrical discussions, local history talks, and poetry presentations.

Check local listings for dates and times or stop in the store to find out about up coming events. We take special pride in fulfilling special orders. If we don't have it, and it can be found, we will get it!
