Don't let appearances fool you! Possessing a certain je ne sais quoi, the Chanti is Ithaca's most beloved dive bar. Not only is it our oldest surviving tavern, but it is arguably the oldest downtown business, and its laid back, dingy interior has continued to attract an eclectic mix of graduate students and townies alike for decades. Pool tables, friendly, knowledgeable bartenders, and a great lineup on the jukebox has made it a favorite watering hole for the town and gown as long as we can remember.
