Service League Thrift Shop

The Service League is a nonprofit organization which operates a "gently used" clothing shop, staffed by volunteers. The Shop was founded by six local women and opened for business in 1949. In 1960 the Shop moved to its present location in the lower level of the Women's Community Building, 104 West Seneca Street, Ithaca. The Service League accepts "gently used" clothing and footwear on consignment and donation for resale. After careful consideration of grant applicants, the Board distributes proceeds to nonprofit organizations in Tompkins County.
The Service League is staffed with approximately 100 volunteers and is always looking for new volunteers. We welcome men and women of all ages who are interested in performing a service for the community.
For additional information or if you are interested in volunteering, telephone the Shop at (607) 272-2120.
