Shortstop Deli

The Shortstop Deli was founded in 1978 by Albert Smith who set out to build the BEST SUB in Ithaca. He chose to use only the finest meats, cheeses, and vegetables and serve it on bread baked right in the store. He lets the customer decide the toppings, so you can really have it your way. 

We think he has succeeded in creating Ithaca's BEST SUB as do the readers of the Ithaca Journal and the Ithaca Times: His sandwiches have been voted "Best of Ithaca" by the readers of both papers almost every year since the inception of the award.

Shortstop hasn't closed their doors in over 22 years; so whether you want to come in for a cup of fresh brewed coffee at 7am or if you are hungry for an award winning sub at midnight, you can always count on them to be open. 

In addition to a delicious array of sandwiches and subs, they also carry a variety of drinks and snacks.
