Farm to Fork Ithaca - A Season of Celebrating Local Foods, Wine & Farms

The Downtown Ithaca Alliance, Cornell Cooperative Extension and the Cayuga Wine Trail have partnered to produce a series of events focused around the harvest season. These events showcase the local culinary bounty and our connection to agriculture. Saturday, October 10, 11:00 am-4:00 pm Cheesemaker Tour/Open House
Enjoy an FREE self-guided tours to most of our region's artisanal cheese-producing farms. Cheesemakers and farms on the tour include: Rita Kellogg of Side Hill Acres Goat Dairy, Candor; Carmella Hoffman of Sunset View Creamery, Odessa; Nancy Richards of- Finger Lakes Farmstead Cheese, Mecklenberg; Andrew Cabot of Cowlick Farm, Lodi; Suzanne Messmer of- Lively Run Goat Dairy, Interlaken; Tom Murray of Muranda Cheese Company, Waterloo; and Rose Belforti of Finger Lakes Dexter Cheese, Aurora. Sunday, October 11, 6:00 pm Harvest Dinners on the Farm

Stick & Stone Farm, Trumansburg Road, Ithaca
Experience an elegant 4-course dinner hosted by an area CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) farm. This event features food prepared by Chef Hans Butler (formerly of Watercress Restaurant), with wine poured by Hosmer Winery. All proceeds benefit the Healthy Food for All Program, a collaborative effort of local farms and Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County to provide subsidized CSA shares to low-income families in our community. Tickets are $75/person and may be purchased using PayPal at www.healthyfoodforall.org. Reservations are required and seating is limited so don't delay. Monday, October 12, 1:30-5:30 pm - Fall Harvest Festival for Kids

P&C Market, Hancock Street, Ithaca
Spend the school holiday celebrating the Fall harvest. The festival is a wonderful opportunity for children of all ages to enjoy hands-on, harvest-themed activities such as pumpkin painting and more! Wednesday, October 14 - Blue Stone Bar & Grill & Lucas Vineyards - 6 Course Wine Dinner
Blue Stone Bar & Grill is hosting a 6 course wine dinner featuring Lucas Vineyards wines October 14th at 6pm. Blue Stone is located at 110 North Aurora Street.
