Downtown Ithaca Welcoming Four New Businesses to the Community

Ribbon cutting ceremonies start at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10

ITHACA NY OCTOBER 8, 2019 —  Downtown Ithaca Alliance (DIA), City of Ithaca, and Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce leaders will officially welcome four new businesses — Equus Advisors, Mane and Wigs, Nowhere Special Libations Parlor, and One Ring Donuts  — to the community during a ceremony this Thursday, Oct 10, at each of the businesses.

The first ceremony will be at 11 a.m. at Equus Advisors, 171 E. State St. (Center Ithaca) Suite M03, and immediately followed by a ceremony at Mane and Wigs, 109 S. Cayuga St., and then at Nowhere Special Libations, 114 W. State St., before we take the short walk to 114 W. Green St. (Press Bay Court) to welcome One Ring Donuts. All of these businesses opened in the community last month.

“We are delighted that these four diverse businesses recognize our downtown community as a great spot to offer their specialty products and services,” says Gary Ferguson, executive director for the DIA, a not-for-profit organization charged with promoting downtown.

These four businesses join a lengthy list of new places that have recently opened in Downtown Ithaca. For more information about them and downtown’s other businesses, visit downtownithaca.com.
