SUMMARY:Coming Home: A Concert for the Community
DESCRIPTION:Opus Ithaca School of Music is presenting our 6th Annual “Concert for the Community” on Saturday\, March 9th at 4:00PM in the beautiful St. Paul’s sanctuary. Mark your calendars! Opus has assembled an incredible group of professional musicians who will perform Debussy’s “Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun\,” O’Neal’s “North” (with our Odyssey Choir)\, some jazz standards (with Opus Jazz Quintet)\, and ending with the magnificent Beethoven Piano Concerto in C minor (with Miri Yampolsky at the piano) under the baton of Guillaume Pirard. We will present this as a gift to the community – the concert is free for all who wish to attend. It is going to be quite special – and perhaps the largest scale event that Opus has hosted. JOIN US!
