The pre-teen students are eagerly rehearsing their songs and dances. In addition to the performance\, everyone anticipates the annual post-show reception\, where fabulous food is the highlight. But a last-minute change requires Ashtabula and Phlemena Fitz&Startz and their devoted students to add cooking and baking to their skill sets. This year 108 artists submitted over 300 pieces\, from which the jury members made their choices. \n$1000 in prizes will be awarded by prize judge Dara Engler\, Associate Professor and Associate Chair\, Art\, Art History\, and Architecture at Ithaca College. Prizes will be announced on Friday December 6. \nThe show will run from December 5th through December 28th\, 2024. DESCRIPTION:The CAP-a-Palooza Vintage Art Sale is an annual fundraiser of the Community Arts Partnership (CAP)\, held over 9 days from December 6th to 14th. \nOn December 2nd to 4th\, we collect donations of not-new art from community members who are downsizing or have unused or unloved art that they can part with. \nThe sale starts on Friday\, December 6th (gallery night in downtown Ithaca) from 5pm to 8pm and will run through Saturday the 14th. \nWe then hold a 9 day sale starting on Gallery Night (IthacaGalleryNight.com) and runs through Saturday the 14th.\nOver 500 pieces will be sold! Vintage and contemporary\, professional and amateur. Paintings\, photography\, etchings\, prints\, small sculpture\, pottery\, embroidery and more.
