Curated by Yen Ospina through her Nomadic Gallery\, this month-long pop-up exhibition at Orozco Gallery Ithaca celebrates fiber practices that uplift identity\, heritage\, and healing. \nFrom embroidery and felting to weaving and quilting\, each artist explores the power of thread and fabric as tools of transformation and testimony. This exhibition is presented in collaboration with the Latino Civic Association and Cornell’s Rural Humanities Grant. \nThe opening reception will feature Puerto Rican and Salvadoran cuisine by @jojocook and refreshing non-alcoholic drinks from @openspaces.
