IC Student Groups Set to Perform on August 31 in Downtown Ithaca

ITHACA, NY August 28, 2019 — This Saturday, Aug. 31, a handful of talented Ithaca College student performance groups will be bringing their acts to the downtown Ithaca community.

The groups will be performing between 1 and 5 p.m. on the Bernie Milton Pavilion on the Commons as part of IC & TC3 Day, a special day where Downtown Ithaca welcomes hundreds of new and returning Ithaca College and Tompkins Cortland Community College students to the downtown community and the public is treated to some free entertainment by Ithaca College student groups.

“IC & TC3 Day presents the perfect opportunity for IC and TC3 and the general public to give a warm welcome to the new students, learn about the different opportunities the different colleges have to offer and to enjoy some entertaining and fun student performances. We also encourage the day’s visitors to check out the multiple specialty shops and diverse restaurants that are available here,” says Allison Graffin, Marketing Director for the Downtown Ithaca Alliance (DIA).

As part of the day’s entertainment, WICB, IC’s award-winning, student-operated FM radio station, will be broadcasting live from the Bernie Milton Pavilion and dynamic performances will be provided by IC groups Voicestream, Club Dance Team, and Premium Blend.

IC & TC3 Downtown Day is organized in partnership with Ithaca College’s First Bomber Weekend, Tompkins Cortland Community College, the Downtown Ithaca Alliance, and Tompkins Consolidated Transit Authority (TCAT).
