Meet Jennifer Clark and the staff at Lucky Hare Brewing Company

Warmer weather is coming soon which means Lucky Hare Brewing Company’s team is hard at work preparing an assortment of refreshing adult beverages to offer at its taproom in Downtown Ithaca.

For nearly four years, Lucky Hare Brewing has been producing high-quality farm brewed beer at its brewery in Hector, NY, and for the past 8 months its been serving those one-of-a-kind craft brews at its taproom in downtown’s hippest micro-community, Press Bay Alley, 118 West Green Street.

“Press Bay Alley is a very unique space and we are elated to be a part of it. We are very proud to feel so welcomed and supported,” says Lucky Hare Manager Jennifer Clark. “We love all of the events the downtown community puts together and the diversity among all of the downtown businesses. No two are exactly alike, it’s almost like a mini global market that you’re apart of.”

Lucky Hare Brewing’s Richard Thiel, president & owner; Ian Conboy, head brewer and owner; Jennifer Clark, manager; and Tony Cordova, director of Brewery Operations are among the staff ready to offer you fresh brews and fun at Lucky Hare’s taproom.

Clark says visitors are sure to enjoy their time downtown, especially when their visit includes a trip to Lucky Hare’s taproom.

“People should come to Lucky Hare first and foremost because of its excellent product, delicious beer! Customers will also be impressed with our employees’ extensive knowledge of our craft. We strive to provide a memorable experience for our guests, not just turn & burn sales. Our brewer Tony Cordova & his assistant Jesse Perlrriutter of Pantomime Mixtures truly treat the brewing process as an art more so than a job,” says Clark.”

Every local and imported ingredient Lucky Hare uses are of top quality, resulting in delicious craft beer that’s both pleasing to the eye and palette. Its flagship beers — Falcon Punch IPA, London Gentleman, Brotato/Hazy IPA, Lucky Hare Lager, and Milk Milk – are available year-round.

Clark, a Hector native who now lives in Ithaca, joined the Lucky Hare team a year ago and has been managing the staff for the past couple of months. She brings 12 years of hospitality/restaurant/bar experience and three years of management experience to this administrative role.

“I enjoy being the manager at Lucky Hare because of its sells an excellent product, offers a tight-knit family style of managing, and I appreciate the great atmosphere we create for our employees, guests and wholesale clients. We strive to see people happy and enjoying themselves, especially in our taprooms. I believe that translates into the excellent staff we have today. We all truly love being a part of the company’s growth,” says Clark.

In her spare time, Clark enjoys playing soccer with the Ithaca United Soccer Club, mountain climbing, paddle boarding, cycling, motorcycle riding, and hiking. All of those activities overlap, of course, with a reward at the end, usually a delicious Lucky Hare beer.
