DESCRIPTION:Morris is an English dance tradition that marks the turning of the seasons with joyful music\, colorful costumes\, bells and ribbons\, flashing hankies\, clashing sticks\, swords\, and garlands. These dances have been done since before Shakespeare’s time.  \nThe Bassett St Hounds Morris team from Syracuse is 40 years old this summer and we are celebrating with our friends. Eight teams from New York and New England will be performing in Watkins Glen and Ithaca on August 16 and 17.

DESCRIPTION:CSMA is celebrating Ithaca Fest with a cyanotype workshop at Dewitt Park! This fun\, free activity is great for kids and adults alike. Cyanotyping is an easy printmaking process using sunlight and cyanotype paper to create white images on a beautiful blue background. We will provide cyanotype paper and a rinsing station at our tent – feel free to drop in any time between 2 and 4pm!
