DESCRIPTION:Greater Ithaca Activities Center’s\nThe Annual Black History Month Talent Show\nSaturday February 14\, 2024\, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm\nState Theatre\, 107 W State St\, Ithaca\, NY 14850 \n[Ithaca\, NY\, January 22\, 2024] – The Greater Ithaca Activities Center will be hosting its annual Black History Month Talent Show on February 16\, 2024\, from \, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm at the Historic State Theatre. This year’s celebration will feature the diverse talents of GIAC participants\, GIAC staff\, and community members. Performances include vocal performances\, dance\, rap and more. Some of the acts include the GIAC Jumpers and Leadership group ballet\, Mbusi\, the Dororthy Cotton Singers\, Cornell Majorettes\, SingTrece\, Destiny La Vibe\, Stephan Hernandez\, G-Quan and the Global Creative Family\, and more. This event is free. \nEach year our Black History Month Talent Show seeks to not only entertain but to educate the community about black history\, reflect the human condition\, and to shine light on the salient issues facing citizens of color\, particularly Black citizens\, in our country.\nThis program is made possible due to a generous donation from Jon and Mary Lee Jenson as well as the State Theatre.
