Part of the fun of being a college student in the Ithaca community is having the opportunity to explore and experience downtown, including the Ithaca Commons pedestrian mall and its surrounding streets filled with independent shops and restaurants.
In a normal year, under normal circumstances, we'd be hosting an open house weekend full of activities, entertainment and exploration of what's in store in your Downtown Ithaca community - CU Downtown & IC/TC3 Downtown Day. We are ever optimistic we will get back to that next fall!
Instead of our annual welcoming celebration, we're hosting a huge giveaway contest with fantastic prizes that's safely socially distant, but still lets you know about some of the businesses downtown who are safely reopen for business and offering new ways to enjoy shopping & dining both online and in person while helping to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
This contest is intended to help college students attending Cornell University, Ithaca College or Tompkins Cortland Community College learn more about their downtown community. You must be enrolled in one of the three universities - in person or virtual instruction.
You can enter to win once each day to compete for the daily prize and qualify for the grand prize on the 18th.
Winners will be announced on the following day with the Grand Prize winner announced on Monday, Sept. 21st.
This contest is sponsored by the Downtown Ithaca Alliance. It is no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Instagram.
