Discover Your Downtown Contest!
Part of the fun of being a college student in the Ithaca community is having the opportunity to explore and experience downtown, including the Ithaca Commons pedestrian mall, Press Bay, Dewitt Mall, the Aurora Streatery, and more!
Instead of our annual welcoming celebration, we're hosting a simple contest to learn more about Downtown and enjoy some of the shops, restaurants, and services on us! we're giving away $100 and $50 gift cards to students who like/follow our social media.

Contest Rules:
This contest is intended to help college students attending Cornell University, Ithaca College or Tompkins Cortland Community College learn more about their downtown community. You must be enrolled in one of the three universities - in-person or virtual instruction.

The Downtown Ithaca business community has safely reopened in accordance with NY State and Tompkins County safety guidelines.
While many shops and restaurants have reopened their doors with reduced hours or capacity, they have also added new ways to shop including curbside pick-up and delivery services for online or phone-in orders.
Getting to Downtown Ithaca
Downtown Ithaca is central to Ithaca, NY and easily accessible by bus from Cornell and Ithaca College Campus. Green Street Bus stop in front of the Tompkins County Public Library is the main bus transfer station for getting around the entire county and also the site of the Inter City Bus Depot that connects local transit to regional bus companies like Coach and Greyhoud.
