Get ready to celebrate the life and music of one of the most influential hip-hop producers of all time, J Dilla, at Turn It Up: One for Dilla, April Eighth at The Downstairs in Ithaca, NY.

Nine of Ithaca’s premier virtuosos debut as Dilla Gents to deliver live renditions of some of Dilla’s rarest and best work. They’ll bring their unique blend of jazz, hip-hop, and soul in an homage to the one and only Jay Dee.

A tribute DJ set by Annatto and beats by Solid Snake Beater finish out the evening. Get ready to hear some of the greatest beats of yesterday and tomorrow in an intimate listening room ambience.
