The CAP-a-Palooza Vintage Art Sale is an annual fundraiser of the Community Arts Partnership (CAP), held over 9 days each December.
Donation of not-new art is December 2 to 4. The sale starts on Gallery Night, December 6 and runs through the 14th.
In a nutshell, we collect donations of not-new art from community members who are downsizing or have unused or unloved art that they can part with. Donated art an be vintage or contemporary, professional or amateur. Needlepoints your Aunt Sally did in 1974 are right up our alley.
Then we sell the resulting (usually over 500 pieces) at super low prices so we can sell out in 9 days.
Hundreds of people find joy in purchasing and coming to see what we have collected, AND community members feel good about donating their downsized art collection to a good cause.
Note: We do not ask local artists to donate their own work.
