Busking for Justice returns to Café Dewitt on Friday, June 5, with an evening of music, community, and solidarity featuring acclaimed bilingual singer-songwriter Colleen Kattau.

Known for her powerful voice, rhythmic sensibility, and commitment to social justice, Kattau blends Latin American nueva canción, folk, and contemporary songwriting into music that is both moving and inspiring. Her songs explore themes of nature, collective care, and social movements, and her work has been featured on programs including Democracy Now! and Phil Ochs tribute events.

Kattau will perform with multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and producer Rich DePaolo on guitar and vocals. Together they create a vibrant musical experience rooted in connection, hope, and community.

Hosted by Immigrant Solidarity, Busking for Justice is an ongoing concert series supporting immigrants and families impacted by detention and deportation. Donations from the evening will directly benefit those affected.
