The Ithaca Shakespeare Company (ISC) invites audiences to experience Shakespeare in a new way with the Summer 2026 Bar(d) Crawl, a three-part performance series staged at popular venues throughout Ithaca.

The Bar(d) Crawl will feature three free, immersive nights of scenes, songs, and sonnets performed at various bars in downtown Ithaca. The series begins on Monday, July 20 at Argos Inn, a historic downtown mansion known for its intimate atmosphere.

Designed to bring live theater into social gathering spaces, the Bar(d) Crawl combines Shakespearean performance with Ithaca’s vibrant hospitality scene, creating a casual, engaging experience for both theater lovers and newcomers alike.

Come on out, grab a drink, and spend the night with your favorite Shakespeare characters!
