Morris is an English dance tradition that marks the turning of the seasons with joyful music, colorful costumes, bells and ribbons, flashing hankies, clashing sticks, swords and garlands. These dances have been done since before Shakespeare’s time.

The Bassett St. Hounds team from Syracuse is forty years old this summer and we’re celebrating with our friends.

On August 16 and 17, we are hosting seven other Morris teams from New York and New England and performing in Watkins Glen and Ithaca.
