Join us for Backyard Birds, a fun and informative class designed to help you identify the common birds right outside your window! Through an engaging presentation and discussion, you’ll go from beginner to confident bird watcher in no time.

Instructor Jacki Bakker: ie Bakker taught public high school special
education for 32 years prior to becoming a Volunteer Naturalist at Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge, where she conducts educational and outreach programs. She oversees twice- weekly bird surveys, is a docent one day per week at the Refuge Visitors’ Center, and monitors bald eagle nests for the Refuge and NYSDEC
