“This is a depiction of light abstractions and subtle energy phenomena. It is a study of how luminous color and shadow create dimension giving us a way to perceive the world. Reflective of patterns in nature and the cosmos, these are meant to be a probe to expand our view. My intent is to capture the magical essence of the radiant energy felt by a sunset and the wonder felt when looking up, beyond the clouds. In this visual journey, I paint for power giving myself a boost that prompts exploration of the known into possibilities of the unknown.”
