The DIA is governed by a 27-member Board of Directors. The Board consists of 23 voting members (Class A, B, & C and 4 non-voting members(Class D):
  • 12 Class A: property owners
  • 6 Class B: tenant businesses
  • 4 Class C: City & County representatives
  • 1 Class D: residential tenant
  • 5 Ex Officio: university and county representatives

The board meets monthly. Members of the board also sit on organization committees. Board Members serve a three-year term with a three-term limit.
