TCPL to Expand In-Person Hours on June 1

Tompkins County Public Library is pleased to announce its June 1, 2021 expansion of in-person hours.

Beginning Tuesday, June 1, TCPL will open for Browsing and Internet Services during the following hours:

Monday through Thursday:             9:00 am to 8:00 pm            

Friday:                                                 9:00 am to 6:00 pm            

Saturday:                                            10:00 am to 5:00 pm         

Reference desks and internet stations will open at 9:30 am, Monday through Friday, and 10:00 am on Saturday. Browsing and internet sessions will continue to be limited to 30 minutes. In order to adhere to the 24-hour quarantine requirement, returns must continue to be made to the bins on Green Street.

Also, beginning June 1, the Green Street entrance will be available for patrons entering and exiting the building. Patrons will no longer need to enter on the south side of the building.

After June 1, Curbside Service will be offered, with no appointment necessary, during the following hours:

Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 11:00 am to 1:00 pm & 4:00 to 6:00 pm

At this time, TCPL is unable to offer in-person events or meeting spaces.

Following state and local health guidelines, expanded in-person hours are slated to begin on June 1. As the situation is continuously evolving, TCPL will post the latest information on tcpl.org and its FacebookInstagram, and Twitter feeds.
