Local Fiber pop-up shop joins Downtown for the holidays

Celebrating the bounty of local fiber farmers and producers!

Now through the end of December, LocalFiber is hosting a Local Fiber Pop-up Shop at Hilton Garden Inn, 130 Seneca St, Ithaca, NY.

The shop opens Wednesday, November 10, 2021, and runs until the end of December 2021.

Store Hours: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 12 p.m – 6 p.m, and Thursday 12 p.m – 8 p.m.

The Local Fiber Pop-up Shop features handspun and mill-spun yarn, spinning fibers, beautiful hand-knit, and hand-woven items, hand-dyed fiber, plant-dyed fiber, hats, mittens, gloves, slippers, sheepskins, wet and needle felted items, gifts, and more! All of the products in the store are made from wool, mohair, alpaca, and angora fiber from farms right around Ithaca and in the Finger Lakes region. The Pop-up is staffed by LocalFiber.org members, a majority of whom are fiber farmers themselves. Come learn about the amazing natural animal fiber products being produced in our area and get some holiday shopping done all in one place!
