Cider Monday is tasty alternative to Cyber Monday.
During Cider Monday, visitors who come downtown to shop inside brick-and-mortar retail stores around the district can enjoy perks like complimentary cider while they shop for gifts, smiling faces, personalized customer service, complimentary gift wrapping, special offers and special cider tastings by local cider makers.
“When money is spent at independent locally owned businesses, the money stays here and strengthens the economic base of where we live. Plus, patrons should support these specialty businesses because they contribute to the character of our community by offering exclusive shopping and dining options,” says Gary Ferguson, executive director of the Downtown Ithaca Alliance (DIA).
