The Cornell Store is the official retailer for Cornell University, New York’s lone Ivy League University. Open seven days a week, The Cornell Store on the Ithaca Commons offers Cornell clothing, accessories, and gifts, including specialty food items with either a Cornell or local connection.

Downtown Ithaca welcoming Alley Cat Cafe

The Downtown Ithaca Alliance, City Mayor Svante Myrick, and additional public officials will welcome one of downtown’s newest businesses, Alley Cat Cafe, during a ribbon cutting ceremony set for 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 312 E. Seneca St. in downtown Ithaca.

The Commons Kitchen opening in Downtown Ithaca next month

Downtown Ithaca’s Commons, home to many excellent fine dining and fast food options, will soon have a family style restaurant added to its mix. Nadina Azzouay, a longtime home-cooker and the wife of Casablanca Pizzeria owner Adil Griguihi, is opening her own business, The Commons Kitchen at 124 East State St. (The Commons), the former Due Amici Ristorante site.
